The MW 820 keyboard with an integrated mouse is designed as a space-saving input solution for in vehicle computing. It is equipped with a full, alphanumeric keyboard layout with function keys, while still offering a space saving design. It is used for EMS in ambulances and fire trucks as well as in police cars. Public safety officers use it for in-vehicle operations in patrol and emergency vehicle environments to gain efficiency – especially compared to a standard laptop.

With a customer-specific bracket, the vehicle keyboard can be flexibly adapted to your installation requirements. The backlit keys ensure safe data input at any time, even in poor lighting conditions or darkness. Aside from vehicle computing the rugged keyboard is used for machine and system control and therefore is one of our most popular industrial solutions. With its programmable buttons, it simplifies and speeds up processes making work more efficient. This is also true for the built-in touchpad with two mouse buttons, making operations safe and easy.

With an operating temperature from -30 °C to +70 °C (-22 °F to +158 °F) and 0 °C to +50 °C (+32°F to +122 °F) for the touchpad the vehicle keyboard works in extreme heat as well as in cold environments. It is also water and dust proof according to protection class IP54. Because of these advantages, the robust backlit keyboard with integrated touchpad is also often used in logistics.
