Hello John, you work as a Computer Technician for Globe POS systems. Could you tell us a little bit more about the company?
Globe POS is an RSPA Certified Reseller and has been providing system solutions since 1970. We specialize mainly in POS systems but we provide anything and everything a retail space will need to function like scales, printers, cameras, wifi devices and much more. Globe POS Systems is centrally located in Brampton making us easy to reach from anywhere in the GTA. Our clients range from well-known restaurant chains to independent grocery stores. Our goal is to exceed expectations by offering outstanding products and services to each of our customers.
You recently installed a POS system for Ambrosia’s new store in Canada. What components did you use for that?
Ambrosia is a natural foods retailer offering a huge variety of products, from organic and natural foods to household to supplements and so much more. We have a long-standing relationship with Ambrosia and it was a no-brainer for them when it came to choose the hardware and software they wanted to have for their new store. We decided to install HP’s stylish and modern RP9 retail system. This system truly combines powerhouse performance with reliable engineering perfectly packaged to suit any environment. We combined this with the fully programmable PrehKeyTec’s keyboards. These compact keyboards give customers the ability to customize layouts, are extremely user friendly and only require using an adapter unit to mount right beside the HP system.
Why did you decide to use an additional keyboard at the check-out?
