Last week we exhibited at LogiMAT the “International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management” in Stuttgart for the first time. The focus was on our robust, freely programmable silicone keyboards. Many visitors were attracted by our robotic arm, which we controlled with our compact SIK 21 keyboard. To underline the flexibility of our keyboards we programmed the controls to operate the robot live. With our specially developed app, we showed how the re-assignment of the key functions can work using our Android-compatible handheld scanner. Proving not only our development competence, but also the "plug and play" capability of our input solutions. The programmability of all keys enables customers to improve processes and increase their productivity by reducing repetitive sequences.

With our second demo, we presented a two-factor authentication with fingerprint and RFID. This security measure is gaining more and more importance in different industries. For the presentation we mounted our alphanumeric SIK 65 on a pole via VESA. In combination with the biometric reader ML 4, we created a lean, user-friendly solution which inspired our visitors. Of course, we also showed what benefits our full travel and glass keyboards offer in various applications in the areas of logistics and industry.
