In September 2022, our colleague Michael Schmitt celebrated 25 years with the company. He generally enjoys his day-to-day work, and in an interview, he states why:

After graduating from school, Michael completed an apprenticeship at Preh as an electrician, specializing in communications technology. He then worked as an electrical technician on the assembly line for a couple of years before working in testing and production technology.
 
Today he is primarily responsible for planning production and testing processes, but also for coordinating and supervising the IT and telephone system, building upkeep, fire protection, as well as coordinating and carrying out maintenance. 

There is no typical daily routine for Michael and that's exactly why he enjoys working at PrehKeyTec. "What I like most about my job is the variety of my tasks. I often plan for the day in the morning, but in the end, it usually turns out quite differently. In any case, it never gets boring.", he says. 
Accordingly, he doesn't have a favorite task. "With my activities at PrehKeyTec, it's like with many other things, everything has its pros and cons. But basically, there is no job that I don't like doing.", Michael explains. 

In his free time the family man is focused on his two children. "When I'm not at work, I spend a lot of time with my family.", he says proudly.
