In the course of a clubroom renovation, the RadballKidZ Leipzig wanted to raise their infrastructure to a modern level. As a small association with a lot of commitment but few financial resources it is always the goal to find solutions that are inexpensive to operate and do not incur licensing cost. Thus, a display system based on a mini-computer and a clever compilation of free software was created. The main parts are the display solution FreeScoreBoard, the music server Mopidy and the flat-file CMS Bludit. A wide variety of configurations are possible and ready to use for training and tournament operations. Eventually, the task was to make the display, goal jingle and interval music as simple and easy to use as possible.
After a broad research in various forums based on the subject of merchandise management, the club discovered the keyboards from PrehKeyTec. The keyboard fits perfectly into their growing system and is easy and intuitive to use with the transparent keycaps and the therefore individualizable and effortlessly exchangeable labeling.

The RadballKidZ Leipzig (https://www.instagram.com/radballkidz_leipzig/) is the children and youth department of the KSC 1864 Leipzig e.V.. The club wants to inspire children and teenagers of the exotic sport on two wheels. In order to make the daily training routine more varied, the club room was renovated and the infrastructure was refitted. Digitalization played a major role in this.
